"Payment was fine, but the checkout could be clearer"
I’ve used ChowNow a few times and the payments went through without any issues, so overall it was mostly okay. That said, I wish they showed more clear security details during checkout because it kind of left me wondering what was actually happening. Nothing bad happened, but the next steps weren’t super obvious either, and I kept feeling like I wasn’t totally sure if I was done or if I needed to do something else.

"POS setup was painless"
chownow has worked well with our POS so far, and orders come through without us having to retype everything, which is a big help. Setup took a little time, but it wasn’t anything too crazy. Overall it’s been smooth with no major issues. Hopefully it stays that way, because if it started creating extra work or problems, we’d probably have to look at other options.

"Decent choices when I need something quick"
ChowNow has a good mix of restaurants near me, which helps when I’m feeling pressured to figure out lunch or dinner fast. Not every spot I like is on there, but I can usually find something that works. The app is easy enough to use, I just wish there were a few more options sometimes.

"Feels better to actually own our customer info"
I really like that we get to keep our customer data ourselves instead of handing it all over to some marketplace, you know? That just feels like the smarter way to do it. Setup was straightforward overall, though a few of the menus took me a minute to figure out. Still, once I got used to it, it made sense.

"Promo code worked like it should"
I used a ChowNow promo code on my first order and it knocked a few dollars off, which I appreciated. Checkout was straightforward and the food showed up fine. I do wish they offered more deals for people who order regularly, since that would make sense if they want customers to keep coming back. Overall, though, the code worked and the order went smoothly.

"Marketing tools were a bigger help than I expected"
We originally signed up for ChowNow mainly to handle online orders, but the marketing tools ended up being more useful than I thought. The email promos are simple to put together, and we definitely noticed more repeat orders after using them. I could see other restaurants appreciating that too, especially if they don’t have a lot of extra time to spend on marketing. It’s not perfect, but it saves me time and helps bring customers back without much effort. Overall, I’m happy with it.

The ordering process itself went smoothly, and I didn’t have any real issues getting through it. That said, the pricing felt a little confusing because some fees weren’t clear until later in checkout. I think it would only be fair to show all the costs upfront so customers know exactly what they’re agreeing to before they get that far.

I always notice when the little things line up, and here they definitely did. The food came out hot, everything tasted fresh, and every dish had that same solid, well-made feel. it was just really good.

I usually use ChowNow when I’m grabbing takeout from local places, and the loyalty points have been a nice surprise. It’s straightforward, and I like that I can actually see rewards show up when I keep ordering from the same restaurants.
Compared to some other food apps where the points feel kind of pointless or take forever to matter, this feels more practical. It’s not saving me a ton, but a few dollars off here and there adds up, so I’m definitely happy with it

"Quick and fair support experience"
We had a small issue where our menu wasn’t displaying correctly, support got back to us much faster than I expected. To be fair, it wasn’t a huge problem, but they still treated it like it mattered and fixed it without turning it into a big hassle. Really appreciate how easy it was to get help.

"Cancellation terms were super clear"
I was honestly 100% sure what I needed to do because chownow had the cancellation terms laid out really clearly. There was no guessing, no confusing back and forth, nothing like that. I knew exactly what notice was required, and ending the contract was way simpler than I expected. Seriously, it was smoother than I thought it would be

"Setup was easy"
Getting started with ChowNow was smooth overall. I took my time going through the setup because I didn’t want to miss anything or accidentally put the wrong info live. A couple steps took me a minute to figure out, but support was helpful and we got the menu and ordering page set up without any real issues.
